Data Deletion Request
Miqat does not require an account, so data deletion is simple and mostly happens through your device settings.

Miqat does not require account creation. There is no username, password, or profile stored on our servers, so there is no account to delete. This page explains exactly what data exists and how to remove or reset each type.
1. Data stored only on your device
Your prayer notification settings, selected Adhan sound, and other preferences are stored locally on your phone and never sent to us. To delete this data immediately, uninstall the app or go to Android Settings → Apps → Miqat → Storage → Clear Data.
2. Advertising identifier via Google AdMob
Miqat displays ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device’s advertising ID to serve and measure ads. This identifier is managed by Google and not stored by us. You can reset or delete it by visiting Android Settings → Google → Ads and choosing Reset advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
3. Location data
Miqat does not store your location history. Each time the app calculates prayer times or Qibla direction, your current location is used momentarily and not retained. You can revoke location access at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Miqat → Permissions → Location.
4. Manual deletion request
If you believe any data related to your use of Miqat exists beyond what is described above, or you have any other data deletion request, please contact us directly and we will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
