Updated for Miqat

Last updated: 18 July 2026

By downloading, installing, or using the Miqat app, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Description of service

Miqat is a religious reference and educational companion app that provides prayer times, Qibla direction, Azkar, and Quran text with translations sourced from third-party data providers.

2. Not a substitute for religious scholarship

Miqat provides prayer times, Qibla direction, and religious text as a convenience and reference tool. It is not a substitute for guidance from qualified religious scholars or your local mosque. Prayer times are calculated using standard astronomical methods and may vary slightly from your local mosque’s schedule, so always verify with local authorities for important religious obligations.

3. Content accuracy

Quran text, translations, and Azkar content are sourced from third-party APIs. While we strive to present this content accurately, we cannot guarantee it is free of errors, and translations may not fully capture the meaning of the original Arabic text. Users seeking authoritative religious rulings should consult qualified scholars.

4. Advertising

Miqat is supported by advertising provided through Google AdMob. By using the app, you agree to the display of ads as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the app’s normal operation or security

6. Intellectual property

The app’s design, branding, and original code are the property of the developer. Quran text, translations, and Azkar content remain the property of their respective sources and are used under their publicly available terms.

7. Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any missed prayers, incorrect Qibla readings, or any damages arising from reliance on the app’s calculations or content. Users are responsible for verifying critical religious timing through local, authoritative sources.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Morocco.
